Relax in beautiful surroundings near Edinburgh airport

We enjoyed our stay at the Bridge Inn. It was very comfortable and well appointed. Big comfortable bed large bathroom with excellent shower. Staff were very good and a great place to have a meal. Beautiful surroundings by the canal yet close to the airport.

Perfect place to stay the night before our flight!

We had a short but lovely stay at The Bridge Inn. Our room was small but comfortable with great amenities. We enjoyed a delicious dinner when we arrived and were able to sit outside on the porch since the weather was nice. Rachel was an excellent waitress and was great to chat with! She made me a delicious whiskey highball! We also enjoyed a nice walk by the river after dinner and a good breakfast (included) the next morning. Overall, it was the perfect place to stay the night before our flight home. (It is a 10 min drive to petrol stations and the airport!)

Disgusting food

They only have 5 rooms so Breakfast should be good, not in reality !! we sat for an hour before our breakfast arrived, French toast , ( burnt toast fried in oil) it was awful, the Toast served to us an hour earlier was burnt, cold and hard , the room cost us £366 per night as it was highland show week, breakfast was extra, will never be back, all residents were of same opinion,

RIP off!

Over charged on bill, spoke to the waitress who said she’d speak to a manager. Waited 15 minutes for manager but they didn’t show. Despite the waitress walking past our table several times after this, she omitted to make eye contact. I then spoke to two other staff members, nothing happened, I asked one of them again, who told me the manager was busy seeing to a large table. We waited another while, then was told the manager was in the next room sorting the matter out, and to go and speak to him. I went through to the other room and funnily enough - there was no one there. We waited another few minutes (over half an hour in total). We eventually left without getting our refund. I would not recommend this venue - rip off!

Wedding reception

We held our wedding reception at the Bridge Inn earlier this month. This is the pub/restaurant that you will find us in on a sunny day. We have always loved hanging out there and after a rocky start and a poor previous general manager, Rachael and Stuart and the team pulled it out of the bag! This was really the first wedding they had done in recent years and let me tell you, it won’t be the last. They SMASHED it. People always say something always goes wrong on your wedding day. Not us. EVERYTHING went to plan.
