Terrific. Warm and welcoming. They know what you need before you need it.

Serras Barcelona is a terrific small hotel ideally located in Barcelona. I can’t say enough good things about the service we experienced. Every member of their team was warm and helpful. We have to mention Sandra the breakfast manger. She was extremely intuitive and caring greeted us every morning. She definitely helped us to get every day off to a great start. Diego was also an incredible resource for helping us plan and coordinate. Everyone was terrific. The rooms are well appointed, clean and quiet The beds are very comfortable. They think of everything and stayed one step ahead of us with our needs. So happy we chose to stay with them.

Wonderful Experience

We recently stayed at The Serras for seven wonderful days. The hotel is superb, in both layout and comfort. From the moment we arrived and until we departed, we were treated graciously by every member of the staff. The staff at the front were all terrific, especially Santiago who somehow remembered so many things about us. I wish I remembered everyone's names so I could call them out individually, but every single one was just great! Our room was very comfortable and we felt at home during our stay. Our room faced towards the water and we enjoyed the views whenever we were there. We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and were given a nice treat and note welcoming and congratulating us. So thoughful! We took advantage of the breakfast every morning, which had a nice selection of cooked entrees and buffet items. Sandra was wonderful and she not only had us starting the day with a tasty breakfast, but also put smiles on our faces every day we saw her. We are so glad were we able to see her on our last day to say our "so longs." Last, the location of the Serras was perfect for us. With a week to explore Barcelona, we felt it was the perfect location for us to start each adventure! I can't recommend The Serras enough to anyone looking for a special stay and experience in Barcelona. Our next trip to Barcelona will definitely see us staying at The Serras.

Serras Barcelona is one of those rare hotels that gets almost everything exactly right. From the moment you walk in, there is an immediate sense of understated elegance rather than performative luxury. The service is polished yet warm, the design is sophisticated without feeling cold, and the entire hotel feels deeply considered in a way that many five-star properties aspire to but rarely achieve. The location is exceptional. Perfectly positioned between the Gothic Quarter and Port Vell, it allows you to move effortlessly between the energy of Barcelona and the calm of the waterfront. Waking up to Mediterranean light pouring through the windows and stepping onto a balcony overlooking the marina genuinely feels cinematic. (serrasbarcelona.com) The interiors are stunning. Contemporary Catalan design blended with warmth, texture, and restraint rather than over-decoration. Every detail feels intentional, from the beautifully curated rooms to the calm, art-filled communal spaces. Even the atmosphere throughout the hotel manages to feel both exclusive and relaxed at the same time. (Michelin Guide) The rooftop is spectacular. Sitting above Port Vell with a drink in hand as the city softens into evening was one of the highlights of the entire Barcelona trip. The views, atmosphere, and effortless sophistication of the space make it feel like a destination in itself. (preferredhotels.com) Breakfast was also exceptional. Thoughtful, fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely memorable rather than the generic luxury hotel buffet experience. The attention to detail across the food offering mirrors the hotel itself. (Passport & Palmtree) What truly elevates Serras, though, is the feeling it creates. So many luxury hotels focus on appearance while forgetting comfort and emotional experience. Serras somehow manages to feel stylish, intimate, calm, and deeply welcoming all at once. Quite honestly one of the finest city hotels I have stayed in anywhere in Europe.

Serras Hotel is fabulous

We stayed for 3 nights - Serras is in a perfect location , the hotel is beautiful , and all the staff are exceptional , from the reception to the restaurant to the cleaning staff. Special shout out to Sandra the restaurant manager! She has a lovely friendly personality , caters to every guest , and the food is excellent. Thank you Serras!

Amazing Service

We stayed here for a few nights in November and had such a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional, every staff member was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. They actually ran to the store to get stain remover so I could save one of my favorite shirts. That level of care and hospitality is rare to find. If you’re visiting Barcelona, this hotel is an absolute must stay.
